About The Position

This role provides administrative support to the HR, EHS, and Leadership Teams. The apprentice will handle daily mail, manage office supplies, record meeting minutes, and support recruitment and onboarding activities. They will also assist with visitor greetings, clerical duties, data entry, and maintaining organized filing systems. Additionally, the role involves supporting HR administration, training records, preparing presentations, and assisting with employee engagement and environmental management activities. Compliance with various ISO standards and customer-specific requirements is also a key aspect of this position.

Requirements

  • Hourly Rate - $21.00
  • Ability to stop production, upon notifying the Supervisor and Plant Manager, for Safety related matters requiring immediate attention.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the HR, EHS, and Leadership Teams.
  • Open daily mail, stamp invoices, and distribute mail.
  • Monitor and replenish inventory for Office, Cafeteria, Janitorial, and Safety Supplies.
  • Record minutes during Daily Leadership Stand-Up meetings and send follow-up communication emails.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and orientation activities.
  • Greet visitors and assist with planning and coordinating plant visits, training sessions, plant functions, and special events.
  • Perform clerical duties such as typing, filing, and planning meetings.
  • Support and participate in continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Assist with data entry and maintain accuracy within company systems (VISO/LEO, Collectio).
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems and support document control.
  • Support HR administration activities, including attendance tracking and employee onboarding documentation.
  • Maintain training records, attendance logs, certifications, reports, and departmental documentation.
  • Prepare presentations, spreadsheets, reports, and employee communications.
  • Support employee engagement activities, awareness campaigns, and company events.
  • Provide administrative support for Environmental Management activities.
  • Report and assist in addressing safety concerns requiring immediate attention.
  • Ensure compliance with and participate in IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, TISAX, and CSR requirements.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information.
  • Ability to stop production for safety-related matters requiring immediate attention (upon notifying Supervisor and Plant Manager).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
