About The Position

Pine State Trading, Co. is hiring an experienced Warehouse Selector for its Gardiner, Maine location. The Selector accurately selects products and fills customer orders by selecting full cases throughout the warehouse while operating an electric walkie-rider. The scheduled start time is 12:00 PM, Monday through Friday, though the schedule may change during holiday weeks. Previous warehouse experience is preferred. The work takes place in a non-office warehouse environment, with occasional exposure to temperature extremes. Employees must be able to stand and walk for the entire shift and perform prolonged bending, lifting, kneeling, climbing, pushing, and pulling. The role requires regularly lifting 15 to 20 pounds and occasionally lifting more than 50 pounds.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be able to learn to operate an electric walkie-rider.
Must have excellent attendance and meet selection standards.
Must be able to work in a production department with changing priorities, timetables, and deadlines.
Must be able to stand and walk for 100% of the shift.
Must be able to perform prolonged bending, lifting, kneeling, climbing, pushing, and pulling.
Must consistently lift 15 to 20 pounds and occasionally lift 50 or more pounds.
