About The Position

As a Beverage Steward, you’re the go-to for great pairings and even better conversations, helping customers explore wines and beers while providing a welcoming and informative shopping experience. You’ll assist with product selection, answer questions, and share helpful insights so customers leave confident in their choices, whether it’s a quick recommendation or a thoughtful pairing for a meal or occasion. You also maintain department conditions throughout the day by stocking, rotating, and organizing products while keeping displays full and visually consistent. You monitor inventory levels, complete ordering tasks, and follow merchandising plans and standards. This role operates in a fast-paced retail environment where consistency, organization, and product awareness contribute to overall department performance.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and provide accurate product information
• Basic understanding of wine and beer categories, with interest in learning product characteristics and pairings
• Ability to convey product details, pricing, and promotional information clearly
• Ability to maintain accuracy in pricing, labeling, rotation, and presentation standards
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage workflow, and maintain an orderly work area
• Ability to stock, rotate, and maintain inventory levels to meet demand
• Ability to communicate with vendors regarding ordering, product availability, and merchandising activities
• Ability to adjust to changing priorities and workload in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift and move products up to 50lbs
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to remain active throughout the shift
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts
• Compliance with all alcohol sales regulations and company policies
