About The Position

This role is responsible for providing friendly, fast, and helpful customer service to all guests and team members. The Beverage Server will resolve service problems according to guidelines, appear in publicity photos, and promote casino events and programs. They will provide fast, friendly, professional beverage service to casino guests, carrying full trays on every round. A key responsibility is to monitor guest consumption of alcohol and intervene as needed according to guidelines. The server will take drink orders, communicate with bartenders, assist in the preparation of drinks, and present drinks to guests. They will handle money according to procedure, operate a cash register, take money, make change, and make deposits at the end of the shift. Maintaining a clean and stocked workstation, assisting with picking up glassware/cups and other items left by guests, and participating as a team member with all servers, venue hosts, supervisors, and kitchen staff are also essential. The role requires declaring tips through the time and attendance system, meeting department uniform, appearance, and grooming requirements, and adhering to attendance guidelines and company policies. Keeping work areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris, and litter, and performing all job duties in a safe and responsible manner are critical. The position requires adherence to regulatory, department, and company policies, and performing other job-related and compatible duties as assigned.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Excellent customer service/communication skills
Ability to count money and change correctly
Knowledge of tray service cocktail ingredients and/or prior server experience preferred
Ability to earn and maintain TiPS certification
Ability to earn and maintain a current Food Handlers Card
Ability to earn and maintain RBS Certification within 60 days of employment.
Available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy
Must be able to acquire and maintain appropriate gaming license.
Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to read and communicate verbally in English.
Written communication skills in English may also be required.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Must be able to efficiently and accurately count money and gaming chips and make a change.
Possess the ability to operate an adding machine and have basic computer skills.
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
