Beverage Server Fling Bar
About The Position
The Beverage Server will provide top-quality customer service and ensure customers have a favorable dining and gaming experience. This role promotes a Family Style Service culture through actions and a positive attitude. The server will deal with high-volume customer interactions, build guest relations, sell amenities, accurately ring orders, take payments, and make change. They will also understand and adhere to cash handling procedures, assist with bar cleaning and inventory, and appropriately use bar equipment and cash handling systems. Knowledge of guest alcohol limitations and company policy regarding these limitations is essential. The server will also have complete knowledge of all casino events and promotional activities, keep their work area clean, and adhere to all regulatory, departmental, and Company policies. They will handle routine customer complaints and incidents, and identify situations requiring supervisory attention, aiming to resolve all situations while maintaining positive guest relationships. The role requires the ability to work a flexible schedule, including late nights, weekends, and holidays, with potential shift changes. Additionally, the server will assist in maintaining a spotless casino by disposing of guest-related items and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Proficient in English verbal and written.
- Proficient with iOS devices.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a 1055 gaming license.
- Ability to push and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and kneel repetitively.
- Safely work with provided cleaning chemical and equipment.
- Ascend and descend stairs and maintain equilibrium for an extended period.
- Must be able to work from a standing position and/or walking motion for extended period.
Nice To Haves
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide top quality customer service and ensure customers have a favorable dining and gaming experience.
- Deal with high-volume customer interactions and be consistently outgoing, upbeat, and cheerful.
- Build guest relations throughout every shift by talking with customers, making them feel welcome and comfortable, and inviting them back.
- Sell amenities to guests, accurately ringing orders, taking payments, and making change as necessary.
- Understand and adhere to established cash handling procedures and policies.
- Assist with cleaning the bar area and with inventory.
- Appropriately use all bar equipment and cash handling systems.
- Have knowledge of guest alcohol limitations and company policy and procedure regarding limitations.
- Have complete knowledge of all casino events and promotional activities, and assist as needed.
- Keep work area in a clean and orderly manner.
- Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and Company policies in an ethical manner and empower and require others to do the same.
- Handle routine customer complaints and incidents, and exhibit the appropriate discretion to identify situations requiring the attention of supervisory personnel.
- Seek to resolve all situations in a manner that maintains positive guest relationships.
- Assist in maintaining a spotless casino by disposing of any cups, glasses, bottles, or other items left on the floor by guests.
- Perform other duties as assigned or reasonably requested by any member of management.
