This is an exciting opportunity to work at Ocean Downs Casino, only 10 minutes from the beautiful beaches and boardwalk of Ocean City, MD! The role involves ensuring a fun-filled, entertaining, and exciting environment for guests, working with an awesome team, and delivering service excellence. This is a part-time, seasonal position.

Requirements

Ability to read, write, speak, understand or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the necessary functions of this position.
Ability to consistently comprehend, retain and execute written, verbal and demonstrated directions, explanations and guidance.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and effectively communicate with guests, co-workers and management.
TiPS certification required.
Must be able to obtain and keep a License issued by the Maryland State Lottery Agency required of all Gaming Establishment employees.

Nice To Haves

Previous bartending or cocktail service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Creates and ensures a fun-filled, entertaining and exciting environment where the flawless delivery and execution of service excellence is paramount.
Greets and serves guest in a friendly and efficient manner.
Operates P.O.S. System and makes accurate cash and financial transactions.
Accurately records all Food & Beverage revenues and corresponding receipt of money, credit cards, complimentaries and coupon settlements.
Prepares all settlement paperwork in a consistent and organized manner.
Monitors alcohol consumption by guest, adhering strictly to Company Policy & Maryland Law.
Maintains inventory and restocks all items and products in area as needed.
Ensures that work area is clean and sanitary.
Relays all guest compliments and complaints to Food & Beverage Management.
Promotes outstanding customer relations.
Promotes honesty and trust among the team.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
