About The Position

The Beverage Cart Attendant will be responsible for serving food and/or beverage on the Francis Ii Brown golf courses. This role involves taking and delivering food and beverage orders, accurately recording and receiving payments, and building relationships with guests to ensure service excellence through attentive, heartfelt service. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with people and possess a genuine spirit for servicing guests in a warm and helpful manner that exceeds their expectations.

Requirements

Must be of minimum 18 years of age.
Superior professional appearance and manner, good character to work in a fast-paced team.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs.
Ability to obtain relevant state and local government certifications, such as food handlers certificate or alcohol training certifications, as applicable to the position.
Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
Must be able to obtain a TB Clearance.
A clean driver's abstract and valid driver's license is essential.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
One year experience in the foodservice/hospitality industry as a Bartender preferred.
Good knowledge of spirits, beer, and wine and experience at a luxury hospitality property preferred.

Responsibilities

Serve food and/or beverage on the golf courses.
Take and deliver all food and beverage orders.
Ensure the accurate recording and receipt of all chits.
Build relationships with guests.
Ensure service excellence is met through attentive, heartfelt service.
Maintain complete knowledge of and strictly abide by state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated persons, and drunk driving.
Understand and anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests, however busy and at whatever time of day.
Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
Handle guest complaints following procedures and ensuring guest satisfaction.
