About The Position

Ansley Golf Club is seeking a Beverage Cart Attendant with bartending experience. This role enhances the golfing experience for guests by providing food and beverage service on the golf course. The position reports to the club’s Food and Beverage Manager. We are looking for driven, service-oriented individuals eager to make a difference.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of bartending experience required.
  • The ability to provide exemplary member and customer service.
  • The ability to sell (and up-sell) food and beverage to guests by being cordial, helpful, and sincere.
  • Must have a thorough working knowledge of the club’s food and beverage operation.
  • The endurance and commitment to work the long hours and weekend work that the club business requires.
  • Walk, sit, stand for long periods of time, bend, use hands to handle, or feel; and talk or hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Lift up to 25 lbs. regularly; up to 50 lbs. occasionally and to lift overhead and push/pull, move lighter objects.

  • Previous private club experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maximize the food and beverage & golf experience for members and guests.
  • Ensure the beverage cart's presentation and appearance is always clean, pleasing to the eye, and impeccable.
  • Mix, prepare, and serve consistent alcoholic and specialty beverages for members on the golf course.
  • Prepare garnishes, stock, and maintain liquor, beer, and wine products.
  • Ensure all members and guests receive the highest level of service.
  • Complete a daily inventory log.
  • Handle cash and ensure the accuracy of receipts at day's end.
  • Complete the day-end close-out report through the point of sales system.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the beverage cart at the end of the day.
  • Follow and implement management directives, programs, and policies.
  • Incorporate safe work practices and safe food handling standards.
  • Understand the basics of theft, waste, and pricing of beverage cart inventory items.
  • Complete a daily sales and inventory sheet with accuracy.
  • Use the point of sales system.
