About The Position

With our rapid projected expansion, the Live! Casino & Hotel Brand is searching for the right talent to grow with the organization and help drive our future success. This role involves daily oversight of the food & beverage operation and staff, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, and upholding guest service standards.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must be able to work in an alcohol and smoking environment.
Must have the ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by Louisiana Gaming Control Board or any other applicable regulatory entity.
Good people management, communication and listening skills.
Proven ability to lead a team effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Ability to perform assigned duties under pressure.
Must be flexible and adaptable to change.
Demonstrated time management and organizational skills.
Must be internally motivated and detail oriented and have a passion for teaching others.
Ability to work a flexible work schedule to include evenings, weekends and holidays.
Knowledge of sanitation laws and health regulations and applicable OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

Implement and follow all policies of the department and company.
Supervise and assist in daily training of managers and hourly employees and maintain open communication between all personnel working in the department.
Maintain appropriate beverage/food inventories and quality control with the service of alcohol.
Ensure quality control and timeliness of food/beverage service.
Assist in controlling labor/beverage/food cost for the department.
Knowledge of safety procedures to ensure employee and guest safety.
Understand all state liquor regulations and ensure compliance of all applicable liquor laws for the department.
Ensure compliance with all federal and state gaming regulations.
Achieve budgeted revenues, control expenses and labor costs, and maximize profitability within all areas of beverage outlets.
Maintain company operating standards.
Demonstrate professionalism that reflects our brand and company values.
Respond to guest trends, needs, issues, comments and problems to ensure a quality experience and enhance future sales prospects.
Perform other duties as assigned.
