About The Position

With our rapid projected expansion, the Live! Casino & Hotel Brand is searching for the right talent to grow with the organization and help drive our future success. This role involves daily oversight of the food & beverage operation and staff, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, and upholding guest service standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be able to work in an alcohol and smoking environment.
  • Must have the ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by Louisiana Gaming Control Board or any other applicable regulatory entity.
  • Good people management, communication and listening skills.
  • Proven ability to lead a team effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to perform assigned duties under pressure.
  • Must be flexible and adaptable to change.
  • Demonstrated time management and organizational skills.
  • Must be internally motivated and detail oriented and have a passion for teaching others.
  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule to include evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Knowledge of sanitation laws and health regulations and applicable OSHA regulations.

Nice To Haves

  • Some college preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and follow all policies of the department and company.
  • Supervise and assist in daily training of managers and hourly employees and maintain open communication between all personnel working in the department.
  • Maintain appropriate beverage/food inventories and quality control with the service of alcohol.
  • Ensure quality control and timeliness of food/beverage service.
  • Assist in controlling labor/beverage/food cost for the department.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures to ensure employee and guest safety.
  • Understand all state liquor regulations and ensure compliance of all applicable liquor laws for the department.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal and state gaming regulations.
  • Achieve budgeted revenues, control expenses and labor costs, and maximize profitability within all areas of beverage outlets.
  • Maintain company operating standards.
  • Demonstrate professionalism that reflects our brand and company values.
  • Respond to guest trends, needs, issues, comments and problems to ensure a quality experience and enhance future sales prospects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
