About The Position

The cabinet assembler produces mechanical and electrical sub-assemblies, products or systems by performing the following duties. Other duties may be assigned as required by production needs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work with tools, equipment, and technical processes
• Hands-on, mechanically inclined, and detail-oriented
• Comfortable interpreting technical information and instructions
• Understanding of Electrical
• Basic computer literacy and the ability to navigate standard workplace software applications

Responsibilities

• Assembles parts and/or units and positions, aligns, and fastens units to assemblies, subassemblies, or frames using various hand and power tools.
• Positions, aligns, and adjusts parts for proper fit and assembly.
• Connects cables, tubes and wiring according to standard manufacturing methods and procedures.
• Diligently follows work instructions, blueprints, and/or schematics to ensure product specs, performance targets and quality levels are met.
• Supports continuous improvement activities and participates in problem solving activities.
• Contributes to a safe working environment by following safety requirements.
• Collaborates with Team Leader and Manager to resolve technical problems, validates recommendations or reviews material requirements.
• Works in a team environment to assemble components.
• Perform other miscellaneous duties and activities as assigned
