About The Position

Under the supervision of the Associate Director of Berklee Global Operations (ADBGO), the Berklee Global Temporary Assistant will support the daily operations of Berklee Global’s programs and partnerships and will provide application and communications support for the Berklee on the Road and other Global programs. This role will act as a general office assistant, and will support the Global team on executing various projects.

  • Familiarity with systems such as Google Drive, Microsoft Office Suite, FileMaker Pro and Social Media platforms.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Demonstrated experience in customer service, ideally having worked in a customer service environment for at least 1-year.
  • Experience with data entry.

  • Basic knowledge of CRM systems
  • Graphic design and video editing software
  • Experience with social media accounts and marketing campaigns
  • Knowledge of contemporary music and applications of music technology are a plus.
  • Second languages, especially Spanish, are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support the daily operations of Berklee Global, including front line reception, meeting scheduling, email communications, and research tasks.
  • Manage the daily processing of applications for 5+ Berklee on the Road programs in consultation with the Associate Director and Global team.
  • Oversee Berklee on the Road (BOR) participant payments and related departmental payment accounts
  • Carry out the regular maintenance of records in the Filemaker and other database systems, reconciling data across all departmental platforms, and support reporting as requested.
  • Support travel planning tasks including liaising with Berklee employees, travel agency and partners.
  • Work collaboratively with student employee team, assigning projects and tasks and tracking progress
  • Answer inquiries about area programs and applications via phone, email, and in-person, using clear and professional language.
  • Support e-mail marketing and communications regarding various stages of BOR program application process, as directed by the Global staff. For bilingual candidates, this may also include translation.
  • Maintain a high level of communication with the Associate Director to obtain project specifications and expectations, and provide deliverable deadlines.
  • Assist in generating social media content for Berklee Global and Berklee Español channels. For bilingual candidates, this may also include translation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
