About The Position

OmniCable is seeking a Benefits & Wellness Specialist to join their team in West Chester, PA or Houston, TX. This role supports the day-to-day administration of employee benefits and wellness programs. This role applies a well-developed skill set, independently manages work of increasing complexity, and consistently contributes to team and operational outcomes. Work is performed with moderate supervision and some latitude for independent judgment, while operating within defined guidelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • 2–4 years of experience in benefits administration and administration of wellness platforms.
  • Working knowledge of benefit plans and basic eligibility rules.
  • Experience using HRIS/benefits administration platforms; comfort with Excel/reporting.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to annual enrollment, carrier reconciliation, or wellness programming.
  • CEBS coursework (in progress) or HR certification (PHR/SHRM-CP) a plus.
  • Experience in Paycom HRIS

Responsibilities

  • Administer benefit enrollments, life events, terminations, and status changes for medical, dental, vision, FSA/HSA, life, disability, and voluntary benefits.
  • Respond to employee benefit questions, troubleshoot routine coverage/eligibility issues, and ensure timely resolution through carriers and internal systems.
  • Prepare and submit carrier files and reconciliation support (e.g., verifying eligibility, resolving common discrepancies, documenting corrections).
  • Support COBRA administration tasks (e.g., qualifying event processing, notices coordination, vendor follow-up) within established procedures.
  • Coordinate wellness initiatives (communications, event logistics, vendor coordination, incentive tracking).
  • Maintain wellness portal/communications calendars and assist with campaign execution.
  • Maintain benefit documentation (SOPs, job aids, plan guides), track employee acknowledgments as needed, and support audits by collecting/organizing required materials.
  • Support annual enrollment preparations (testing, content updates, employee communications, training materials).
  • Run routine reports (eligibility, deductions, enrollment metrics) and provide basic analysis for operational tracking.
  • Maintain data integrity in HRIS/benefits systems by processing transactions accurately and timely.
