About The Position
The Benefits Verification Specialist will support the billing and benefits operations team by ensuring accurate benefit information and providing general administrative support.
Requirements
- Understanding the verification process as well as strong communication skills
- Basic claims knowledge
- Computer proficient
Responsibilities
- Verifying patient insurance benefits with accuracy and attention to detail
- Answering inbound phone calls and assisting with basic inquiries
- Supporting general administrative and operational tasks as needed
- Running and reviewing reports to ensure upcoming billing is accurate prior to month-end
- Conducting basic claims research to resolve discrepancies
- Collaborating with the internal team to ensure a smooth and timely billing cycle
