WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING (ESSENTIAL DUTIES) … This position will ensure that individuals who may be eligible for state, federal and local benefits are supported in the process of accessing and making application for benefits. This includes registration, insurance eligibility and enrollment/re-enrollment and access to community-based behavioral health treatment for clients. Support completion and review each application to confirm that the financial statements and other personal information are accurate. Interview the applicants and family members when necessary, and document all your findings that lead to approval or denial of the Medicaid application.
