As a Benefits Specialist, you’ll be responsible for operationalizing employee benefits and leave programs across North America, EMEA, and APAC. You’ll partner closely with the Senior Manager, Global Benefits, the People Team, Payroll, Legal, and external vendors to ensure programs are compliant, operationally sound, and thoughtfully designed to balance employee experience with business needs. Through end-to-end ownership of leave administration, benefits operations, and global compliance, you’ll help reduce risk, support business continuity, and play a key role in attracting and retaining top talent as the company continues to grow globally. This is a remote position in the United States and reports into the Senior Manager, Global Benefits.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of HR experience, preferably at a fast scaling start up.
  • Experience driving leave management programs and policy creation at a multinational company.
  • Strong knowledge of US compliance requirements.
  • Creative problem solver who uses frameworks to cut through ambiguity and gets energy from independently figuring things out.
  • Detail-oriented, exceptionally communicative, ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Strong proficiency with Excel.
  • Open to using AI to amplify their skills and strengthen their work - demonstrating curiosity, a willingness to learn, and sound judgment in applying AI responsibly to improve efficiency and impact.

Responsibilities

  • Administer global leave of absence programs end-to-end, partnering with regional People teams to ensure compliance, accurate tracking, and a positive employee experience.
  • Perform ongoing benefits and payroll reconciliations, identify and resolve discrepancies, and collaborate with vendors and internal payroll partners to maintain accurate records.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits and leave-related inquiries, including support during new hire onboarding.
  • Build, document, and continuously improve benefits and leave administration processes, tools, and workflows to support scalability and operational consistency.
  • Maintain benefits data integrity across systems and support audits, reporting, and compliance requirements, including but not limited to FSA Non-Discrimination Testing, 1095-C reporting, SFHCSO, etc.
  • Support cross-functional and strategic global benefits initiatives as business needs evolve.
