Join our small, but mighty, Dexcom benefits team in an Americas-focused benefits role. This role will assist the Director Global Benefits with America’s benefit and leaves programs and will need to have a strong background in benefits design, implementation, leave administration and maintenance.

Requirements

  • Established background and extensive knowledge in United States and Canada benefits, retirement, leave, time-off and well-being programs.
  • Supervisory and/or management experience overseeing a team of benefits and leaves analysts.
  • Good writing skills, strong communication skills, customer service, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, planning schedule, problem-solving, and arranging activities to accomplish objectives.
  • Proficient with MS Office with strong excel, Smartsheet, and presentation skills.
  • Experience with technology platforms such as Sharepoint, ServiceNow, Workday, & ADP.
  • Strong project management experience overseeing various projects at the same time.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with 8-12 years of industry experience.
  • 2-5 years of previous management or lead experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain the benefits of the Americas region, including healthcare, supplemental benefits, time off, leaves, retirement programs, etc.
  • Manage leave administration and accommodations for the Americas region (currently U.S. and Canada).
  • Lead all details of annual open enrollment for the Americas region.
  • Oversee Workday benefits configuration for the Americas region working with HRIT and HR Operations.
  • Manage benefits compliance: annual testing/filings including ACA, 401(k) audit, retirement plan testing, FSA testing, employee notices, 5500s, etc.
  • Ensure plan documents, communications, intranet, benefits records and regulatory reports are kept up to date an executed according to current mandates and guidelines.
  • Monitor, analyze, and recommend ongoing changes to benefits structure and policy to maintain competitiveness, compliance, cost-effectiveness.
  • Expand the process and procedure documentation and ensure all internal and external knowledge articles are up-to-date and accurate.
