About The Position

Westland Insurance Group Ltd. is growing and seeking a collaborative and client-focused professional to join their Burlington, ON Group Benefits division as a Benefits Consultant. In this hybrid role, the consultant will support a portfolio of group benefits clients and work closely with Senior Consultants, underwriting teams, and carrier partners to deliver exceptional service. Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in employee group benefits account management
• Strong knowledge of group health, dental, life, disability, and ancillary benefits products
• Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
• Experience building relationships with clients and carriers
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems

Nice To Haves

• CEBS, GBA, LLQP or related designation

Responsibilities

• Provide account service for assigned group benefits clients
• Build and maintain strong relationships with plan administrators and decision makers
• Support renewal processes and plan reviews alongside Senior Benefits Consultants
• Assist in preparing quarterly or semi-annual reports and recommendations
• Coordinate with carriers to implement plan changes and resolve claims issues
• Maintain accurate client records within CRM and internal systems
• Promote and upsell Westland’s suite of benefits products to existing clients
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional Westland services
