About The Position

The Benefits and Compensation Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day administration of Denison's Benefits programs. Primary duties will center around ensuring that we are maximizing the utility of the Workday system to effectively and efficiently deliver Total Rewards to the Denison community. This role helps to ensure that benefits and compensation programs are accurate, efficient, compliant and promote an exceptional employee experience. The C&B Specialist will serve as the key point of contract for employees, retirees and vendors while overseeing the daily administration of all C&B programs. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed organization and technical skills, along with the ability to effectively communicate difficult or complex ideas and the background and experience to assist with benefit strategy and design. Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in benefits or human resources.
  • Workday experience – strong understanding Workday Benefits module
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field

Nice To Haves

  • 4-7 years of experience in benefits or human resources.
  • Workday experience – Compensation or Advanced Comp module
  • Master’s Degree in related field.
  • Designation: CEBS or CBP or CCP or SHRM-CP Certification

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries, resolving complex benefits issues received via the shared inbox, email, and phone.
  • Acts as the Project Manager for the annual Open Enrollment process, overseeing end-to-end planning, execution, and communication.
  • Audits benefits enrollment data to ensure system accuracy.
  • Triages and resolves Workday enrollment errors and anomalies.
  • Schedules, launches, and troubleshoots Workday integrations, resolving file discrepancies and delivery issues.
  • Manages benefit vendor payments, including retrieving invoices from vendor portals, processing payments, and recording accounting transactions for auto-deducted expenses.
  • Coordinates documentation and research for the annual external audit of retirement eligibility and contributions.
  • Partners with the Compensation & Benefits Manager on market benchmarking, job evaluations, salary surveys, and regulatory compliance.
  • Performs data and cost analysis across compensation and benefits programs to support strategic decision-making.
  • Executes additional HR and benefits projects as assigned.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
