This internship is designed for students entering their senior year of undergraduate study, aiming to graduate in Spring 2027. The role will be full-time during the summer and transition to part-time during the school year. It offers an excellent opportunity for aspiring HR talent, combining impactful project work with routine operational tasks. The intern will join an award-winning HR team and report directly to the Senior Benefits Manager.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a 4-year accredited college/university actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree
  • Students entering their senior year of undergraduate study who are on track to graduate in Spring 2027
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism
  • Self‑motivated, eager to learn, and able to take initiative when completing tasks
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to complete work accurately and on time
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines
  • Professional, reliable, and committed to supporting the HR team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint

Nice To Haves

  • Human Resources Management major preferred but not required
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred
  • Experience with HR systems (e.g., Dayforce HCM) preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the Benefits department by learning and understanding Janney’s full suite of benefits
  • Ability to field employee in-bound questions on benefits and workflows
  • Assist in creating and maintaining employee records in Dayforce HCMS
  • Support with onboarding documentation and conduct follow-ups to meet deadlines
  • Support key projects integral to the Benefits/Total Rewards function
  • Partner with Benefits team members on cross-functional projects, including data audits and invoice tracking
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements
