The Department of Economic Security (DES) is seeking individuals committed to service, community, and teamwork to join their team. The Eligibility Interviewer Specialist will work on-site at the Key Campus location, Monday through Friday, processing DES on the Spot virtual caseloads and state-wide cases. This role requires the individual to work autonomously, physically on site, with little or no supervision, though supervisor support will be available virtually. The position is not a lead role. The selected candidate must be able to quickly adjust to changes in tasks or assignments and interact with extremely vulnerable clients, requiring patience and strong interpersonal skills. Local travel may be required based on the immediate needs of the Administration. Senior-level subject matter expertise (SME) is required in policies and procedures for complex CA, NA, and MA cases, and adaptability to various caseload demographic types is essential. The role involves determining client eligibility for Medical Assistance (MA), Nutrition Assistance (NA), Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), and Cash Assistant programs through interviews and determinations.
