The Department of Economic Security (DES) is seeking individuals committed to service, community, and teamwork to join their team. The Eligibility Interviewer Specialist will process DES on the Spot virtual case loads and state-wide cases remotely on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and be on-site at the Parker Food Bank on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This role requires working autonomously with little or no supervision, though supervisor support will always be available virtually. The individual must be able to quickly adjust to changes in tasks or assignments and interact with extremely vulnerable clients, requiring patience and strong interpersonal skills. Local travel may be required based on the immediate needs of the Administration. Senior-level subject matter expertise (SME) is required in policies and procedures for complex CA, NA, and MA cases, and the individual must be highly adaptable to a variety of caseload demographic types. Client eligibility for Medical Assistance (MA), Nutrition Assistance (NA), Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), and Cash Assistant programs must be determined through interviews and determinations.
