Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
3+ years of experience in benefits administration.
Working to intermediate proficiency in Excel (e.g., spreadsheets, formulas, data review).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to follow established processes while contributing to continuous improvement.

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting employee leaves of absence in a multi-state environment preferred.

Responsibilities

Support the implementation and day-to-day administration of employee benefits programs.
Assist with the planning, setup, and execution of annual open enrollment activities.
Help identify opportunities to improve internal processes; document and maintain standard operating procedures for assigned benefit processes.
Coordinate with benefit plan providers, vendors, and consultants to support service delivery and assist with issue resolution.
Monitor benefits administration system interfaces and data exchanges with vendors and payroll, escalating issues as needed.
Administer employee leaves of absence (including FMLA, STD, LTD, state disability, and paid parental leave) in partnership with the leave administrator, HR, and payroll teams.
Provide customer support for benefits-related inquiries from employees and district office contacts.
