About The Position

As a Benefits Analyst, you’ll dive deep into the details of employee benefits programs, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a seamless experience for our team members. You’ll manage day-to-day administration of health and welfare plans, troubleshoot data issues, and partner with internal and external stakeholders to keep everything running smoothly. From auditing benefit deductions to supporting annual open enrollment, your work will directly impact the well-being of our employees and their families. You’ll also take ownership of data analysis and reporting, using your advanced Excel skills to uncover insights and drive informed decisions. Whether preparing communications for new benefit programs or assisting with 401(k) audits, you’ll play a key role in shaping how we deliver value to our workforce. This is a role for someone who loves precision, thrives on problem-solving, and enjoys making complex processes feel simple and clear.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Human Resources, Accounting, or Business Administration preferred
  • At least 2 years of experience in a benefits or financial analyst role
  • Experience in analyzing medical and pharmacy claims spend and performing benefits budget forecasting, including identifying cost drivers, evaluating trends, and supporting financial planning.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills with experience in data mining and summarizing complex information
  • Advanced Excel skills (VBA knowledge is a plus)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Access, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent business writing and communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • General understanding of HR laws and processes
  • A team-first attitude; while your core duties are your priority, you're happy to step in wherever you're needed
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
  • Regular in-office attendance is required
  • Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties
  • Ability to adhere to company policies and professional standards

Nice To Haves

  • CEBS, CPB, or related certification is highly desirable
  • VBA knowledge is a plus
