About The Position

The Benefits Administration and Compliance Analyst supports the administration, compliance, and communication of employee benefit programs. This role is responsible for researching and maintaining state and federal benefits compliance requirements, supporting benefit audits, analyzing enrollment and participation data, assisting with communication campaigns, and providing backup support for benefits administration and leave processes. Requirements

  • 3-5+ years’ experience in benefits administration, compliance, HR operations, or related analytical role
  • Strong understanding of employee benefits, leave administration, and applicable state and federal regulations
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and prepare reports
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems, preferably UKG, preferred
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Able to travel 10% of the time

Responsibilities

  • Research and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations related to employee benefits and leave administration, including: Pay transparency, State paid family and medical leave, State paid sick leave, State employment changes
  • Support internal audit activities, including: Monthly benefits audits, Quarterly funding audits, Annual third-party audits for Health and Welfare, 401(k), and Contractor’s Plan
  • Compile, analyze, and report benefits data, including: Enrollment analytics, Open enrollment statistics, Additional ad hoc reporting as needed
  • Support benefits communication campaigns, including: Annual preventative campaign, Semi-annual financial campaign, Mental Health Awareness campaign, Virtual Benefits Fair, Open Enrollment campaign
  • Provide backup support for: Benefits administration in UKG, FMLA and leave administration
  • Assist with new hire orientation and onboarding related to benefits
