  • Partner directly with Purchasing in supplier meetings and negotiations, providing data-driven insights to challenge quotations and achieve target costs.
  • Evaluate supplier quotes, including piece price and capital investment assumptions, ensuring alignment with cost targets and manufacturing feasibility.
  • Develop cost models for components and systems, including tooling, equipment, and manufacturing processes across both PACCAR and supplier operations.
  • Analyze current supplier manufacturing processes and conduct feasibility studies on alternative production methods to improve cost, quality, and efficiency.
  • Support new product development and innovation initiatives by contributing cost insights, feasibility assessments, and business case evaluations.
  • Collaborate with Purchasing, Engineering, Product Development, Product Planning, Six Sigma/Benchmarking, and Manufacturing Engineering teams to drive cross-functional alignment and results.
