About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking entry-level and experienced jewelers to join its Field Design & Service Center Teams. Team members restore jewelry, perform repairs, and may design and create custom jewelry according to their skillset. The role offers training and continuous learning, with opportunities to advance from beginner to artisan in a promote-from-within environment. Pay is based on current jeweler skillset and experience. The position is full-time, consisting of a 40-hour work week, with varying hours that may include nights and weekends and seasonal required overtime.

Requirements

1–3 years of bench jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.
Pass a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler level.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Customer-service orientation and a high standard for quality work.
Basic computer skills.
Varying availability, including some nights and weekends.
Seasonal required overtime.
High school degree or equivalent preferred, but not required.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge or skills in chain and clasp repair, prong retipping, stone setting, creating stone mountings, channel and platinum rebuilds, minor ring and other jewelry repair, wax carving, fabrication, casting, custom design and creation, and CAD/CAM design work.

Responsibilities

Restore jewelry to its original condition.
Perform jewelry repairs, including tasks such as chain and clasp repair, prong retipping, stone setting, ring repair, and platinum or channel rebuilds, depending on skillset.
Design and create custom jewelry, including work that may involve stone mountings, wax carving, fabrication, casting, and CAD/CAM.
Provide customer-first service and quality work that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
