The work involves assembling or integrating parts to create subassemblies using oral or written instruction. This includes performing operations such as wire wrap, soldering, inserting components on circuit boards, positioning and fastening parts by crimping, soldering, epoxying, bolting, or hand staking, tinning, riveting, bonding and welding. Other duties include bead blast, cleaning and forming parts, labeling, stenciling, marking, key pinning, masking/unmasking, wrapping and unwrapping parts, wire prep including forming and lacing, wire stripping and/or dressing and wire continuity tests. The role also supports microcircuits in assembly and operates machinery such as robots, auto crimpers, riveting machines, punches, drills, cleaners such as EMC or Detrex, ovens, furnaces, and computer driven label and marker printers. Due to facility requirements, US Citizenship is required.

Requirements

  • Ability to assemble or integrate parts to create subassemblies using oral or written instruction
  • Skill in performing operations such as wire wrap, soldering, and inserting components on circuit boards
  • Experience with fastening methods including crimping, soldering, epoxying, bolting, hand staking, tinning, riveting, bonding, and welding
  • Ability to operate machinery such as robots, auto crimpers, riveting machines, punches, drills, cleaners, ovens, furnaces, and computer-driven label and marker printers
  • Familiarity with tasks including cleaning and forming parts, labeling, stenciling, marking, key pinning, masking/unmasking, and wire prep
  • Must be able to obtain J Standard Solder Certification within first 30 days of employment.
  • US Citizenship is required.
