About The Position

Watermark Baton Rouge is looking for a part-time Bell Person with open availability. The Bell Person is responsible for providing attentive, courteous, and efficient luggage assistance to all guests during check-in, throughout their stay, and at checkout. This role requires a high school diploma and a VALID driver's license. Experience in a hotel or related field is preferred. Employees must at all times be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to all guests, managers, and fellow employees. Establishing and maintaining good communication and teamwork with fellow employees and other departments within the hotel is essential. The Bell Person will also answer guest inquiries about hotel services, facilities, and hours of operation in a timely manner, and offer information pertaining to available services and facilities of the hotel, points of interest, and entertainment attractions.

Requirements

High school diploma
VALID driver's license

Experience in a hotel or related field

Responsibilities

Escorting hotel guests to rooms and assisting with luggage to and from guestrooms.
Transporting hotel guests to the Baton Rouge Metropolitan airport and other venues in the immediate area.
Maintaining high standards of personal appearance and grooming when working.
Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
Be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to all guests, managers, and fellow employees.
Establish and maintain good communications and team work with fellow employees and other departments within the hotel.
Answer guest inquiries about hotel services, facilities and hours of operation in a timely manner.
Offer information pertaining to available services and facilities of hotel, points of interest and entertainment attractions.
