About The Position

The Bellperson/Shuttle Driver is responsible for being the most outgoing and welcoming associate as guests arrive and depart the hotel. This role requires maintaining an impeccable grooming appearance and work uniform, assisting guests with luggage, and driving guests. The associate will stay posted at the front entrance to greet guests, must be able to stand for long periods, and provide a minimum Four-diamond level service. Other duties include supporting the guest services team, answering guest questions, providing directions and information about facilities, reporting safety hazards, knowing safety and emergency procedures, adhering to department and attendance policies, and attending required meetings.

Requirements

  • Previous valet experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.
  • Excellent Communication skills- both verbal and written required.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills required.
  • Excellent listening skills required.
  • The ability to work well as a team as well as individually at times.
  • Ability to read, speak, write, and understand English.
  • Ability to multi-task in a high-paced environment.
  • Must be adaptable and flexible to change.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule.
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to work under varying weather conditions.
  • Be able to make quick decisions and possess good judgment.
  • Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous customer service experience in a high-volume setting is preferred but not necessary.
  • Clean driving record is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support all of the guest services team and assist guests with any questions they may have.
  • Respond to all guests for assistance, directions, and facilities information.
  • Report all safety hazards and suspicious persons.
  • Know all safety and emergency procedures and your role in assisting during these times.
  • Adhere to strict department and attendance policies.
  • Attend all required meetings.
