Picture Yourself at Biltmore Farms as part of the Vanderbilt legacy of hospitality. As a Third Shift Bellperson / Shuttle Driver, you will conduct Bell service activities such as luggage service upon guest's arrival and departure, and luggage storage. You will open the door of the car for the guest in a professional manner at the main entrance of the hotel and assist to unload the luggage if any. Extend warm welcome and appreciation to every guest / patron at any customer. Guide guests to their room in a professional manner, which includes addressing the guest by name, holding the lift for guest and extending hotel introduction to guest, etc. Possess extensive knowledge in relating to hotel products, events and promotion. Assist with transportation arrangements for guests. Assist in guest transportation, including driving the hotel shuttle as needed. Transport guests and hotel clients safely to their destination with the hotel shuttle, following outlined company driving procedures and requirements. Maintain the safety and cleanliness of the hotel shuttle. Keep driving log for the hotel shuttle up to date. Maintain the cleanliness of the Front Desk and the surrounding environment. Support the lobby lighting adjustments periodically. Assist with delivering Front Office or Housekeeping items to guest rooms, such as newspapers or requested linens. Extend assistance to guests, clients, and patrons alike in a flexible and hospitable manner. Demonstrate professional and welcoming image while on duty. Perform other duties being assigned by the Front Office Manager or hotel leadership. We believe the essence of hospitality begins the moment you enter one of our hotels.
