About The Position

Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh Downtown is seeking a Bell Captain to lead the Bell Attendant team. This role involves assisting guests with transportation around the city, providing local recommendations, and handling luggage. The Bell Captain will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of hotel vehicles, assisting at the front desk, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience through attentiveness, friendliness, and efficiency.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to communicate information clearly.
• Ability to handle basic issues independently.
• Works well under pressure, maintaining composure and sound judgment.

Nice To Haves

• Hotel experience preferred.
• 2-3 years in a bellhop or similar role is a plus.
• Minimum one year of driving experience with a valid state driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

• Maintain punctual attendance in line with Aimbridge Hospitality standards.
• Maintain a crisp uniform and shining name tag.
• Load and unload luggage carts.
• Escort guests to rooms.
• Deliver messages, flowers, and packages.
• Provide VIP treatment for luggage.
• Open doors.
• Check and store bags.
• Complete room changes.
• Showcase suites and amenities with flair.
• Keep a pulse on area attractions, transportation guides, and special events.
• Share maps, directions, and answers to guest questions.
• Assist housekeeping.
• Keep the lobby info board up to date.
• Assist on phone calls.
• Conduct house counts.
• Lend a hand for any other adventure that comes your way.
