About The Position

As a Bell Attendant, you will serve as the primary ambassador of the Broadmoor, delivering an elevated, personalized arrival and departure experience, and providing hotel information. This role involves greeting and assisting guests with their luggage, providing information about the resort's amenities and local attractions, and ensuring a seamless and positive first and last impression of the hotel.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) equivalent.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.
  • Impeccable personal grooming and adherence to strict luxury grooming standards, a calm demeanor under pressure, and discretion regarding confidential guest data.
  • A highly motivated team player who connects easily with colleagues and drives results through positive energy and seamless collaboration.
  • Excellent communication skills, negotiation, conflict resolution and ability to work in fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift, pull, or push up to 100 lbs. with assistance and proper safety practices.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age to operate Broadmoor vehicles.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in bell attendance or in guest facing role is highly preferred; however, an equivalent combination of relevant education and professional background will be considered.
  • Willingness to learn about The Broadmoor’s history, estate grounds, wilderness properties, culinary offerings, and retail outlets.

Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet and welcome all arriving and departing guests by name, opening doors and managing front-drive or lobby first impressions.
  • Transport, tag, secure, and store guest luggage and belongings with precision and care during arrivals, departures, or temporary storage requests.
  • Escort guests to their accommodations, provide a detailed mini-tour of Broadmoor amenities, and orient guests to in-room technologies (lighting, climate control, entertainment systems, and safes).
  • Inform guests about hours of operation, resort facilities (spas, dining outlets, pools, fitness centers), and Colorado points of interest or activities.
  • Assist guests by providing directions to meeting rooms, restaurants, shops, and other hotel facilities and amenities.
  • Arrange and log requests for taxicabs, shuttles, house cars, or limousine services, and assist guests in and out of vehicles.
  • Deliver messages, parcels, packages, and special VIP amenities directly to guest rooms.
  • Maintain immaculate cleanliness and organization at the bell desk, entryway, and luggage storage areas.
  • Ensure complete compliance with The Broadmoor guidelines, operational procedures, safety policies, and institutional standards for excellence (Forbes Travel Guide and AAA Five-Diamond).
  • Maintain a willingness to learn about The Broadmoor’s history, estate grounds, wilderness properties, culinary offerings, and retail outlets.
  • Execute additional duties and responsibilities as required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
