About The Position

United Rotorcraft in Denver, CO is seeking a Bell 407 Technician. This position is responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, inspections, and alterations of Company operated aircraft and articles in accordance with United Rotorcraft policies and procedures. The technician will ensure company operational goals and objectives are met, while guaranteeing all aircraft maintenance documentation is executed in compliance with applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, company policies and procedures, and applicable maintenance manuals. The role requires extensive knowledge of Bell 407 rotor experience.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and five (5) or more years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of AMC part 145 and 135 maintenance requirements and procedures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Efficient in the use of electronic or paper based manuals and able to navigate through vendor data to find necessary information.
  • Ability to apply comprehensive knowledge of concepts and practices of their specific disciplines skills and their application.
  • Ability to work independently or within a team environment.
  • Ability to manage several projects concurrently and to work on problems of diverse scope and implement solutions.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the AMC Safety Management System.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Thorough knowledge and ability to utilize of multiple RAMCO functions.
  • Regular scheduled attendance is an essential function of the position.
  • Subject to drug and/or alcohol testing per the DOT/FAA requirements (pre-employment, random, reasonable cause/suspicion, post-accident).

Nice To Haves

  • FAA A&P or meet requirements to obtain a FAA repairman certificated preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all core duties of applicable technician requirements at an exceptional level.
  • Coordinate with AMC Maintenance Support and Planning Departments to provide support for field maintenance needs.
  • Provide communications to Engineering Department for specialized shop needs.
  • Report Maintenance Leads and Supervisors on project constraints and progress updates.
  • Mentor new employees in understanding shop procedures to increase their efficiency and productivity.
  • Responsible for monitoring, controlling and ordering of material usage in the designated shop.
