About The Position

We are seeking a Behavior Technician II to work with our guests living with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities and mental health challenges residing in our Adult Crisis Therapeutic Home (CTH) located in Woodbridge, VA. This role supports individuals at the Adult Crisis Therapeutic Home who have co-occurring disabilities and/or behavioral health needs. As a member of the REACH team, the Behavior Technician II will work closely with participants' primary care providers, community crisis services, and families to ensure comprehensive support for those referred to the home. Requirements

  • Qualified Mental Health Professional Trainee, or The ability to register as a Qualified Mental Health Professional Trainee and be approved within 30 days of hire
  • Experience working with IDD/Behavioral Health (BH) disorders required
  • Maintain valid state appropriate driver’s license and auto insurance for personal and agency vehicles utilized for work

Responsibilities

  • Facilitating daily programs and rehabilitative activities
  • Providing therapeutic interventions
  • Assisting with personal care
  • Work closely with participants' primary care providers, community crisis services, and families to ensure comprehensive support for those referred to the home
