About The Position

- The Behavioral Tech III at LIFESTREAM BEHAVIORAL CENTER is responsible for providing advanced support and care to individuals with behavioral health needs during Shift 2. This role involves implementing therapeutic strategies, monitoring client progress, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment for clients to achieve their treatment goals.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a behavioral health or mental health setting.
  • Strong understanding of behavioral health principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently.
  • Proficient in maintaining detailed and accurate records.
  • Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to adhere to confidentiality and ethical standards in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions in emergency situations.

Nice To Haves

  • An associate degree or higher in psychology, social work, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in crisis intervention and management is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience working in a shift-based environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct care and supervision to clients in accordance with individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions and behavioral management strategies as directed by clinical staff.
  • Monitor and document client behaviors, progress, and any incidents, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
  • Facilitate group activities and therapeutic sessions to promote client engagement and progress.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to assess client needs and adjust care plans as necessary.
  • Ensure a safe and supportive environment by adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to support treatment goals and objectives.
