About The Position

- The Behavioral Tech III at LIFESTREAM BEHAVIORAL CENTER is responsible for providing advanced support and care to individuals with behavioral health needs. This role involves working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to implement therapeutic interventions and ensure a safe and supportive environment for clients.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a behavioral health setting.
• Experience with crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
• Proven track record of working effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Experience in developing and implementing treatment plans for individuals with behavioral health needs.
• Strong understanding of behavioral health principles and practices.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in high-stress situations.
• Proficient in using electronic health records and other relevant technology.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions quickly.
• Ability to work with diverse populations and demonstrate cultural competence.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for clients.
• Monitor and document client progress, behaviors, and any changes in condition.
• Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in distress.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions and therapeutic activities.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of clients by maintaining a secure and structured environment.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to evaluate and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate clients and their families about behavioral health issues and coping strategies.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and interventions.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to case discussions and planning.
• Uphold the ethical standards and policies of LIFESTREAM BEHAVIORAL CENTER.
