About The Position
ATC Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and experienced ABSS Clinician (Behavioral Support Specialist) to join our clinical team. This role is ideal for a professional with experience in counseling, behavioral assessments, treatment planning, and supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. The ABSS Clinician functions under the supervision of a licensed psychologist and plays a vital role in providing clinically appropriate treatment and behavioral support services.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in a clinical and/or treatment field of Psychology
- Training in assessment techniques and behavioral program development
- Prior experience providing counseling services under OPWDD guidelines preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience using EHR systems and standardized testing tools
- Valid New York State driver’s license required

Responsibilities
- Provide clinically appropriate treatment in accordance with treatment plans
- Conduct behavioral evaluations and assessments to determine therapeutic needs and diagnoses
- Develop individualized treatment and behavioral support plans
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including treatment notes and service reviews
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment and support teams
- Participate in patient planning reviews and staff meetings
- Conduct staff and family training as appropriate
- Maintain compliance with all safety, privacy, and regulatory standards
