The Behavioral Intervention Specialist provides trauma-informed, culturally responsive behavior support services to LGBTQIA+ individuals experiencing emotional, behavioral, mental health, and/or social challenges. This role focuses on improving emotional regulation, coping skills, interpersonal functioning, crisis prevention, and overall quality of life through individualized interventions, advocacy, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. The specialist promotes a safe, affirming, and inclusive environment that respects each person's identity, lived experience, and goals.
