About The Position

WOCAP, a local non-profit organization, is seeking qualified candidates for a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Mental Health/Disability Coordinator to support children and families enrolled in our Head Start and Early Head Start programs at our Central locations. This position is 40 hours per week, 52 a year.

Requirements

  • MUST be able to pass drug screen and background check.
  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Social Work, Behavioral Health, or related field.
  • Minimum two year's related experience.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and case management skills.
  • Valid Ohio driver's license, current vehicle insurance, and privately-owned vehicle during working hours required.
  • Ability to check electronic mail, entering data into program specific software for required reports, and Internet skills required.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee behavioral health, mental health, and disability services.
  • Ensure compliance with disability enrollment requirements and individualized service plans.
  • Facilitate referrals and coordinate services with local school districts, consultants, and community agencies.
  • Monitor and support IEPs, IFSPs, and intervention plans.
  • Provide training and resources to staff and families.
  • Serve as an advocate for children and families.
