About The Position

The Behavioral Health Therapist works with individuals, families, and groups to address and treat mental & emotional disorders, and to promote optimal mental health. This role is a School-Based, Behavioral Health Therapist position within BJC Healthcare, making a direct impact on patient care and operations at Confluence Prep Academy (serving grades 9-12). Requirements

• Master's Degree in Social Services field
• 2-5 years experience
• Valid Driver's License
• LCSW/LPC/LMFT/Equiv

Nice To Haves

• 5-10 years experience

Responsibilities

• Provides individual, and in some cases, family therapy to active clients.
• Updates the treatment plan to reflect therapy goals.
• Collaborates with other professionals regarding client participation level, progress, and setbacks.
• Completes intakes for individuals requesting services at BJC, assessing their eligibility based on symptomology, treatment history, and current needs.
• Develops and facilitates education for clients.
