About The Position

Socorro General Hospital, part of Presbyterian Healthcare Services, is seeking a licensed Behavioral Health Social Worker/Therapist for its program in Socorro, New Mexico. The role provides individual, group, and family therapy and involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating mental health and substance use disorders. Candidates must hold a current, unencumbered LCSW, LPCC, or equivalent license in New Mexico, or be able to obtain New Mexico licensure before starting. This is a full-time position with a sign-on bonus.

Requirements

Current, unencumbered Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or equivalent license; must be licensed in New Mexico or able to obtain licensure before starting.
Experience facilitating patients' access to community resources and conducting therapeutic groups.
Flexibility to adjust to the needs of a fast-paced environment.
Effective problem-solving skills.
Proficient oral and written communication skills.
BLS or ACLS.
Experience in clinical therapy.

Responsibilities

Provide group and individual therapy and update notes.
Assess, diagnose, and treat mental health and substance use disorders through individual, group, and family therapy.
Facilitate patients' access to community resources.
Conduct therapeutic groups.
