Provides high quality patient care by performing intake assessment, determining diagnosis, developing and maintaining a treatment plan, concurrent reviews and discharge planning for patients in the Behavioral Health Program. Therapy may include individual, family, couples or group counseling as appropriate, using clinically sound and evidence-based practices as current with state of employment Mental Health laws, regulatory agencies, and policies and standards of care.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work or related field
  • Two years of direct behavioral clinical experience providing individual, group or family therapy in an inpatient or outpatient setting
  • Competence with DSM diagnostic criteria and treatment planning.
  • Demonstrates clinical and ethical professionalism, conflict resolution and critical thinking skills.
  • BLS
  • Sedentary work - prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to 10 lbs. force occasionally

Nice To Haves

  • EAP knowledge and experience, preferred
  • Preferred current license in the state of employment in one of the following disciplines: LCSW CHMC LMFT
