About The Position

Our healthcare team offers an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to make a difference in the lives of our patients and their mental health. We are looking for a behavioral therapist with a friendly demeanor and strong analytical abilities. As a behavioral therapist, you will be responsible for delivering all therapist services such as completing assessments, guiding groups, treatment and discharge planning, and patient care documentation. Provide individual and group psychotherapy sessions to clients participating in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) and general therapy services. Conduct thorough clinical assessments, intake evaluations, and ongoing progress reviews. Collaborate closely with psychiatric providers and other members of the Inner Healing Collaboration Program to ensure coordinated, holistic client care. Develop individualized treatment and discharge plans that integrate therapeutic, relational, and experiential approaches. Facilitate preparation and integration sessions for clients undergoing KAP treatment. Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation within the electronic health record system. Participate in team meetings, consultation groups, and interdisciplinary case discussions. Uphold ethical standards and confidentiality in accordance with professional and legal guidelines. Stay current with research and best practices in psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy and integrative healing approaches. Requirements

  • valid LCSW (licensed clinical social worker) license
  • 1-3 years of clinical experience

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree or higher in Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Active Iowa clinical license (LMFT, LISW, or LMHC).
  • 1–3 years of post-graduate experience providing psychotherapy to adults.
  • Formal training or certification in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) , or a strong interest in pursuing training.
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed, attachment-based, or experiential approaches to therapy.
  • Experience working collaboratively with prescribers and integrative treatment teams.
  • Comfortable integrating spiritual, emotional, and somatic dimensions of healing into clinical work.
  • Competence in documentation, treatment planning, and maintaining clinical compliance standards.
  • Deep compassion and presence in working with clients experiencing emotional, relational, and existential distress.
  • Openness to integrative and non-ordinary states of consciousness as part of the healing process.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to collaborate across disciplines.
  • Commitment to personal growth, self-awareness, and ongoing professional development.
