About The Position

UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh is hiring Behavioral Health Therapists for its South Satellite location. The Behavioral Health Walk-In Clinic provides compassionate, same-day care for youth up to age 18 experiencing non-urgent behavioral health concerns. The position delivers targeted assessments and one-time interventions, coordinates care with existing teams and community resources, and provides short-term bridge therapy to appropriate patients and families. Title and rate of pay are based on education and experience.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Education in school counseling, or a related field.
• Two years of clinical experience diagnosing and treating behavioral and psychiatric conditions.
• Knowledge of the psychiatric evaluation and assessment process and application of the current version of the DSM.
• Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• Clinical Social Worker (CSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
• Act 31, Act 33, Act 34, and Act 73 clearances.
