About The Position

Working as a Behavioral Health Therapist at Mirmont Outpatient in Broomall, you will provide individual and group therapy services to adult patients with Substance Use Disorders. This includes serving self-referrals, patients stepping down from Mirmont inpatient care, and referrals from probation and healthcare providers. In this role, you are responsible for facilitating three 3-hour group sessions each week, developing and maintaining group curriculum, and managing an individual therapy caseload of up to 10 patients. The ideal candidate is highly organized, clinically knowledgeable, and comfortable working autonomously. Success in this role requires strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, an understanding of the SUD continuum of care, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing patient needs and daily treatment demands.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years experience at a Graduate-level supervised internship or practicum in a mental health setting.
• At least 2 years of post-graduate experience.
• Master's or Doctorate in Clinical or Counseling Psychology, or Master's in Social Work.
• Pennsylvania Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor.
