About The Position

Sycamore Springs, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to provide patient care and support. The role contributes to the organization’s mission of making communities healthier and requires compassion, skill, and dedication to the people served. The schedule is 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., with an every-other-weekend rotation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of 1 year of behavioral health experience preferred.
• CNA license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Provide or assist with patient care, diagnostic procedures, and therapeutic interventions.
• Observe and record patient behavior and activities.
• Report changes in patients’ physical, mental, or emotional condition to nursing staff.
• Suggest modifications to treatment plans as needed.
