Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in behavioral health, mental health, substance use treatment, healthcare, or human services
- Experience facilitating groups or activities
- Valid driver's license
- Entry-level candidates with a passion for helping others are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Build positive, therapeutic relationships with clients throughout treatment
- Assist with client admissions and the intake process
- Monitor clients during daily programming and activities
- Support treatment plan goals through daily interactions and interventions
- Conduct required safety rounds and bed checks
- Monitor medication line and report concerns to nursing staff
- Complete client documentation and shift communication logs accurately
- Conduct client belongings and safety searches when required
- Maintain a clean, safe, and structured treatment environment
- Respond appropriately during crisis situations while maintaining professionalism
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary treatment team to support client success
