About The Position

Cottonwood Springs is seeking a Behavioral Health Tech (BHT) to join their team. This part-time, night position involves supporting the therapeutic milieu under the direction of the RN. The role ensures consistent program delivery, patient supervision, safety maintenance, and respectful treatment of patients and guests. Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and de‑escalation certification required within 30 days of hire.
• 1 year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a psychiatric health‑care facility with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, or geriatric patients preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for supporting the therapeutic milieu under the direction of the RN, by ensuring that the schedule/program is consistently delivered, patients are supervised, that safety is maintained, and patients and guests are treated with respect and dignity.
