We believe in the value and unique worth of all individuals. CCRN is seeking a Full time - Behavioral Health Technician to join our caring and compassionate team in Coatesville, Pennsylvania. As a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT), you will have the privilege of providing community-based behavioral support to a unique group of individuals across all settings in Chester County, PA.

Requirements

  • Have a certification as a BCaBA.
  • Have a certification as an RBT.
  • Have a certification as a BCAT.
  • Have a behavior health certification or behavior analysis certification from an organization that is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies or the American National Standards Institute.
  • Have a high school diploma or the equivalent of a high school diploma and have completed a 40-hour training covering the RBT Task List, as evidenced by a certification that includes the name of the responsible trainer, who is certified as a BCBA or BCaBA.
  • Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the provision of behavioral health services.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Behavioral Health related field and three (3) years of direct care experience OR Certified Registered Behavioral Technician
  • Have a certification as a BCAT.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical support to their assigned client as prescribed in the Written Order
  • Maintain a good working relationship with the teacher and work under the direction of that teacher.
  • Consult with their BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) on either a weekly or bi-weekly basis for up to 8 hours per month.
  • Assist the BCBA in developing a treatment plan and then implement the behavioral strategies outlined. Determined target behaviors will be tracked and documented daily, along with the replacement behaviors demonstrated by the student.
  • Must be able to provide a written summary of the day’s events, including PCA interventions, outbursts of behaviors displayed, etc. This summary must be documented clinically in the PCA Services Daily Log. These logs must be signed by the student’s teacher and/or designee by the end of the week. Documentation must be thorough and meet the standards set by the Director of Clinical Services and/or the Director of Educational Services.
  • Maintain compliance with all aspects of the student's IEP at all times, including billing/documenting no more than 6.5 hrs daily (390 minutes) unless the student’s school district has approved additional time.
  • Must be able to submit all required paperwork by Monday at 9:00 AM of the following week, each week, once it has been completed and signed by the student’s teacher and/or designee.
  • Attend all mandatory meetings.
  • Check work email at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Participate in and complete all required trainings.
  • Use ADP to clock in and out for each shift (including lunch) daily.
  • Respond to supervisors’ contacts (text, phone call, or email) within 24 hours.
