About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is a nationwide network of drug and alcohol rehab centers with ten locations across five states. Our programs - spanning detox, residential, PHP, IOP and outpatient services - have transformed the lives of thousands to date. We are now hiring BHTs for all shifts: Days (7am-3pm), Evenings (3pm-11pm), and Nights (11pm-7am).

Requirements

High School diploma or GED preferred
Valid Driver's license and CPR certification preferred
If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety required
Strong interpersonal and multitasking skills
Warm, compassionate and empathetic personality
Dignified character that models recovery principles

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day operational support to medical and clinical teams (admissions, transportation, meals, medication, supervision, phones etc.)
Engage and build rapport with clients, creating a warm, accepting recovery environment
Monitor clients and enforce all Avenues policies to ensure safety of both clients and staff
Record and escalate any critical communication/ incidents in a timely manner
Fulfill all administrative duties (shift documentation, inventory, meetings, office support etc.)
